urbanXtracts is currently developing a Cannabis Training Program to be offered to target individuals living within a 100-mile radius of our facility located approximately one hour northwest of NYC in Orange County, New York. A special focus will be on training candidates from underrepresented communities. The objective is to develop a full immersion program to educate those interested in potential career placement within the industry.
Our proposed 12-week program will take place at our eighteen thousand square foot facility in Warwick, New York with a maximum of six participants per program. All participants taking part in the program are required to be 18+, have a strong work ethic and a real passion for the industry. Prior cannabis arrests will not preclude those interested from being a candidate. Sessions will take place within the fall, spring and summer. All participants will receive a certification upon successful completion of the program.
Curriculum:
The program will include four weeks of:
1) Cultivation
2) Extraction (GMP compliance)
3) Product Development
